On the way from Stonehenge to Bath, we travel through several small traditional villages in some of the most beautiful countryside in England.

Upon arrival in Bath, you can go with your guide on a 45-minute walking tour through the heart of the city. This way, you can learn more about the history of the most famous sights and get to know the city. Your guide will also make recommendations about things to do and places to eat! We allow a minimum 2.5 hours in the city of Bath, so you can fully immerse yourself in the sightseeing experience. There is so much to do, with the Roman Baths Museum alongside the Abbey, Sally Lunn’s, the Royal Crescent and the Jane Austen Centre.

What should I wear or bring?

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing in layers, as the weather can be unpredictable. Don’t forget a raincoat or umbrella, especially outside of summer.

Journey

  • Approximately 2 hours journey time to the Stonehenge site.
  • Approximately 1 hour journey time from Stonehenge to the city of Bath.
  • Approximately 3 hours journey time from Bath back to your pickup location in London.

Time

  • Depart from Gloucester Road at 7:00am. There will be a short stop at services on the way to Stonehenge for your comfort.
  • Be among the first tour groups to arrive at the Stonehenge site at approximately 9:30am.
  • You have a total of at least 1 hour to spend at Stonehenge. Enjoy the monument, the landscape and the visitor centre.
  • Your tour guide will distribute your admission tickets which allow you access to the Stonehenge site.
  • Enjoy a walk or shuttle bus straight to the monument upon arrival. We recommend taking the shuttle bus directly to the stones to beat the crowds. The walk from the visitor centre to Stonehenge takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • Depart from Stonehenge at 11:00am from the coach park, travel through beautiful countryside to Bath.
  • Arrive in Bath at approximately 12:15pm midday. Optional walking tour through Bath takes about 45 minutes.
  • Leave Bath at 3:00pm. Journey back to London takes around 3 hours, depending on traffic.

  • Arrive back in London at approximately 6:00pm to be dropped off at your starting location, by Gloucester Road station.
